About the Course :

A project most of the time is multi-user. It is often necessary to run the software with the users exceeding the maximum expected. With a large number of users it is difficult to have so many testers as users. This is where the need for automated performance testing arises simulating the user as softer robots.

While high level of testing calls for more investment, inadequate testing leads to enormous customer dissatisfaction. Hence there is a need for optimisation on test-investment (resource and infrastructure) in line with customer requirements.

 Manual Scenario - Using LoadRunner Controller to test an application under load

Analyze Load Tests

 Reaching of Goal - Transaction Summary graph and Average Transaction Response Time graph
 Performance of the Server – Running Vusers graph and correlation of this graph with the Average Transaction Response Time graph
 Pinpointing the problem – source of the overload
